Replace the solution of the master equation of Quantum mechanics, i.e. the Schrödinger equation, by an artificial intelligence model, in order to predict the parameters of the effective models used to described the properties of strongly-correlated quantum-materials. A special attention will be devoted to magnetic properties and the prediction of effective magnetic-exchange integrals.
Under the supervision of Marie-Bernadette Lepetit, reasearch directror at CNRS, your work will consist in increasing the existing database, in developping, testing and training IA models up to the required accuracy and transferability. The database development will not require specific knowledge in quantum mechanics (even if it will be appreciated), as the methodology and sofwares are already in place and well-established. They will however required the use of the French supercomputer centers.
